SNRP - Vehicle Fleet Management System

The SNRP is a system designed for public transport vehicle traffic management, ensuring effective fleet utilization, satisfying work conditions for dispatchers and drivers, and in the end safer and punctual traveling experience for passengers. Set of electronic on-board equipment and central software provides current information about each vehicle and transmits them to Dispatch Center via chosen communication infrastructure.

SNRP - system modules

The SNRP VFMS is fully modular and allows the end user to choose any set of functionality depending on the purpose and requirements of the system. SNRP Vehicle Fleet Management System can be equipped with the following functional modules:

1. Timetable Control

The module is used for verification of the transportation tasks realized by transport carriers in the city, allowing - among others - reporting deviations from timetable, as well as informing drivers about departure times from current stop and possible deviations from the scheduled departure. 2. Wireless transmission and vehicle tracking

The module provides the possibility of vehicle tracking with visualization on digital map and two-way communication with the dispatch center using chosen communication infrastructure - analog or digital like DRM, TETRA or GSM. Implementing communication module provides two-way voice communication and data transfer between the vehicle and dispatch center. The data received in the dispatch center makes it possible to display each vehicle's current position and status. Read more...

3. Passenger information

Passenger Information module is designed to provide passengers current information about traffic in relation to the timetables. This module can be implemented in any configuration of the following options. Read more...

3.1 Route Information System

Set of LED/LCD boards - internal and external, displaying information about current stop and route. The system also transmits text and voice messages coming from either the driver of the vehicle or from dispatch center, e.g. information about traffic jam or changes on the route.

3.2 Static information signs

LED boards installed at the stops informing passengers about arrival times and other schedule related information. Microcomputer installed in the board displays actual departure times corrected by current deviations from the schedule received through wireless communication module.

3.3 Internet passenger information

Web application that displays current position and status (e.g. delayed) of each vehicle on the city map, providing passengers real-time information about departure times, routes and information like traffic jams warnings.

4. Passenger Counting

Passenger Counting module consists of highest accuracy people counting devices mounted at each entrance to the vehicle and advanced reporting software for data analysis. Read more...

5. Speed Control

System gathers information about speed of each vehicle and creates reports about drivers exceeding the speed limit. Software allows creating reports in tabular or graph form, combining data regarding the overspeed amount, driver, date and time of violation and other. Read more...
